How do I know if Same-Day Delivery is available in my area?
During checkout, enter your delivery address. If Same-Day Delivery is available, you'll see it as an option.
Who will be delivering my same-day order?
We offer same-day delivery through our delivery partners in select areas across the U.S. We recommend that you are home to receive your order.
What if I am not available when the delivery partner arrives?
If the driver arrives and you're not available they may try to contact you at the phone number provided at checkout.
If the delivery is not able to be completed, your order will be returned to the store, and a refund for the product toal will be processed within 24-27 hours after the item is returned to the store. Delivery fees are non-refundable. Depending on your bank’s processing time, it may take up to 10 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
Why are some products not available for same-day delivery?
Most products that are in stock at the store will be available for same-day delivery. However, some products may not qualify due to size, weight or other restrictions.
What if I don't receive my delivery?
Check the tracking link in your text messages received by the delivery partner to track exactly where your order is.
If the product is showing as delivered, be sure our delivery provider didn’t leave the product in a hidden location.
If you are still unable to find your order, call 800-442-0081 for help. Please have your order number ready for faster service.
If our delivery provider was unable to deliver your order, the tracking link will show "Returned Back to Sender". The product will be returned to the store, and your refund will be processed by the store within 24–72 hours of it being returned. Depending on your bank’s processing time, it may take up to 10 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
How do I place an order for same-day delivery?
Same-day orders can only be placed online on items sold on continentalbattery.com. If the products are eligible, you will see same-day delivery as an option in checkout. If you order after the daily cutoff time, you will see Next-Business Day as an option in checkout. The website will clearly show whether each product is expected to arrive the same day or the next business day before you place your order.
Are delivery fees refundable?
Delivery fees are non-refundable once an order has been delivered or a delivery attempt has been made. If you return a battery after delivery because it did not meet your needs, you will receive a refund for the product total only. The original delivery fee will not be refunded.
Core Charges for Delivery Orders?
A core charge is a refundable deposit applied when purchasing a battery to encourage recycling.
For "Pick Up In Store" orders: You can choose to return an old battery at pickup to avoid the core charge.
For "Delivery" orders: A core charge is always applied at checkout since drivers do not collect old batteries during delivery. You can still return your old battery to any of our branch locations afterward to receive a full refund of the core charge.
